About me
Welcome. You may be navigating a period of emotional difficulty or change — perhaps feeling stuck in familiar patterns, overwhelmed by stress, anxiety or sadness, or facing challenges in relationships, work, or family life. Therapy offers a space to reflect on what may be happening beneath the surface, and to begin to understand the deeper roots of what you’re feeling.
I offer a calm, reflective space where we can think together about your experience — not only what’s going on in the present, but also how earlier relationships and life events may be influencing your emotional world today. My approach is psychodynamic, with a focus on making sense of patterns that may be unconscious but nonetheless shape how we relate to ourselves and others.
This kind of work can be challenging at times— but also meaningful and transformative. Central to the process is a supportive, consistent and collaborative relationship that enables the development of insight and emotional resilience over time.
Before training as a therapist, I spent many years in leadership roles across both corporate and non-profit sectors, experiences that gave me a deep insight into in how people navigate complex internal and interpersonal dynamics — particularly in high-pressure environments. I also hold an MSc in Sociology from Oxford University, which continues to inform my interest in identity, belonging, and how our personal stories are shaped by broader social forces.
I hold an MSc in Psychodynamic Counselling and Psychotherapy from Birkbeck, University of London, and am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (MBACP). My clinical experience includes working in the NHS with adults facing a broad range of emotional and psychological challenges.
