About me
I am a qualified Clinical Psychologist who can work with children aged 10+ through to adolescence to adulthood through various mental health difficulties, although my main area of work is trauma.
I can also work with social anxiety, mild-moderate OCD, low self-esteem, low mood and more, and I am passionate about supporting people to rebuild their identity and develop coping skills. I draw on cognitive behavioural, compassion-focused and dialectical behavioural therapies, in addition to EMDR and attachment theory.
I recognise that mental health is impacted by our beliefs about ourselves and the world, negative thinking patterns, but also everyday triggers and what we have gone through in our lives. I believe in a trauma-informed, non-blaming approach, validating that people are impacted by what may have happened to them, not what is ‘wrong’ with them.
