About me
I’m a qualified and accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist. I use “third-wave” therapies, which means taking the most relevant aspects of Compassion-Focused (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) and Cognitive Behavioural therapies to tailor to your needs. Additionally, for challenges with OCD I use Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
I have over 8 years of experience working across varied therapeutic mental health settings and have been providing CBT for most of those years. My experience has meant that I've been lucky enough to support people with incredibly diverse backgrounds, experience and circumstances. I understand that every situation is unique and life can be incredibly challenging.
I appreciate that starting therapy can be anxiety-provoking, and you may not have always had the best experience. I aim to create a space in which you can be authentically yourself. I’m also authentically myself, my approach is friendly and informal which I hope creates a welcoming setting. While I will be there to listen and offer support, I’m also honest and may challenge you so that you can get the most out of our sessions.
Working together doesn’t mean sitting in silence or me nodding along while you talk. It’s a collaborative process; we’ll look at what’s going on in your life right now, how past experiences might be shaping your patterns and what practical steps could help you move forward.

Sessions are 50 minutes and £95 per session.
I meet with clients weekly or fortnightly to allow therapy to be as accessible as possible, please reach out if you have any requests or questions about scheduling sessions.
I also offer a free 15-20 minute initial telephone consultation, so that you can see if we are a good fit.
