About me
I am an integrated therapist and clinical hypnotherapist, specialising in anxiety-related issues. I offer a compassionate, empathetic, non-judgemental, person-centred approach tailored to each client's specific needs to help them achieve the changes they want.
My objective and commitment as a therapist is to be there alongside you, shoulder to shoulder. By holding a space for you to be truly listened to, supported and empowered, I offer a compassionate, empathetic, non-judgemental and client-centred approach, believing you hold the skills to overcome the challenges you face.
By training in an integrative approach to clinical hypnotherapy and psychotherapy, I’m able to draw on a wide wide range of techniques and theories which is tailored especially to you, such as Clinical Hypnosis, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Neuro-linguistic Programming (NLP), Parts work (I'm Internal Family Systems informed) and Person-Centred Psychotherapy. This means I’m able to use a multidisciplinary understanding of psychology to offer both short-term, evidence-based and solution-focused support or longer term therapy depending on what you feel you need.
As a therapist, I’m fascinated by how our mental and emotional states can have such an impact on our physical health and vice versa. It’s amazing to see how anxiety, stress and trauma can manifest in physical symptoms and how learning to be present in our bodies, through meditation, breath work and movement can have such a positive impact on our mental health.
I truly believe that when we tune into the connection between mind and body we can unlock so much potential for growth and transformation. By working to cultivate a strong mind-body connection we can learn to listen to our bodies and our emotions in a whole new way and develop a deeper understanding of ourselves and our needs. It’s a journey I feel so grateful to be part of and I’m always inspired by the incredible transformations that I see in my clients.
I know how busy life can get, so offer appointments throughout the week, including early and late slots, both in person and online, depending on what suits you best.
